If you own a boat that you no longer use, and have no plans of still using, probably due to relocation, lack of interest and other reasons, you can donate it to charity and receive your full legal IRS tax deduction the said boat. There are legitimate companies receiving and donating your disposed property when you donate a boat to charity. You can avoid the annoyances associated with selling of property including bothersome phone calls and price haggling. When I myself planned to donate my boat, I was told that the company will also handle title work and repair negotiations.
